Week One of the NFL season is in the books. There were upsets, spectacular plays and big hits (someone please tell Trent Green about it when he wakes up).
With 16 weeks to go in the regular season, the only certainty is that we have no idea who's going to win it all. But the player winning all of the endorsement deals is Peyton Manning.
Even if you didn't watch Indianapolis defeat the New York Giants last night, you probably saw more of Peyton Manning just in this weekend's commercials. He's currently starring in commercials for ESPN, Nextel, MasterCard, and DirecTV.
No wonder Manning received 52% of the first place votes as the NFL's most marketable guy in a recent survey.
And now the entire Manning clan is getting in on the act. ESPN's recent commercial stars Peyton's parents, his older brother (not an NFL QB) and his little brother, Eli (QB for the Giants).
At this rate, the Mannings will become the Kennedy family of the National Football League.
I can't stand Peyton Manning the football player but his commercials are very funny. Maybe he should get into acting . . .
